"Ranked one of the top hotels in Portland, Oregon, the Inn @ Northrup Station promises to be one of the most unique hotel experiences you’ve ever had."
Looking to stay in Northwest Portland? The Inn at Northrup Station is the perfect choice, especially if you're a fan of keeping the 90's alive. I stayed at this lively hotel last weekend and found my stay to be vibrantly memorable. Here are a few reasons why it's my new favorite hotel in Portland:
This hotel is a candy-coated confection of bright colors and funky patterns -- I just couldn't get enough! The ambiance is trendy-meets-retro with artsy suites and kitchenettes and/or full kitchens, which is perfect for saving and reheating those delicious food cart leftovers from downtown. The room was spacious and cozy, complete with two t.v.'s, an office area, couch, bed, and kitchen which made it easy to relax and feel like a home away from home.
Free Breakfast + Delicious Coffee
Coffee is my love language, so free coffee (that's actually good) is obviously ideal. It was so convenient to be able to start the day at the hotel with a delicious breakfast and a couple cups of coffee before heading out to explore Portland. Highly recommend the waffle station and local Marion berry yogurt! [Note: breakfast is served 6:30 to 9:30 am during the week and 6:30 to 10:00 am on weekends]
The weather wasn't the best last weekend, so I wasn't able to totally enjoy the rooftop but it was none-the-less fun to get a view of the orange trees and funky murals from up top. I can tell it would be a lovely spot to enjoy during the Summer months in PDX!
The Northwest district is home to Nob Hill and Peal District, which are super fun areas to wander around with delicious restaurants and really great shopping. The hotel is actually located on the Portland Streetcar line, which you get complimentary tickets to use when you're a guest. Bonus: They also offer complimentary bikes rentals (which I totally would have used if it wasn't raining!).
Have you stayed at The Inn before? What are your favorite hotels to stay at in Portland?
Many thanks to The Inn at Northrup Station for kindly offering me a complimentary stay; however, all opinions are my own.
