Worth Noting: 10.07.16

In the spirit of savoring the little things, I’ll be sharing a few things “worth noting” to me every Friday. I love sharing a great book, show, product or even just a memorable moment from the week. "The little things? The little moments? They aren't little." - Jon Kabat Zinn.

Gilmore Girls

"Coffee, Please, And A Shot Of Cynicism." - Lorelai Gilmore. I was oh-so-excited to hear about the Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix this November and in true Netflix style, they marketed the series in a uniquely creative and engaging way by hosting Gilmore Girls pop-up shops over 250 coffee shops across the United States. I took off work early (nerd alert) to drive down to Sacramento for a hot minute to grab a cup of coffee and take in all the Stars Hollow glory at the Trade! The workers were dressed in plaid with backwards baseball caps a la Luke and the shop was decorated to mimic Luke's. So nerdy and so fun!

I'm a huge fan of Minnetonka moccasins! They are the softest and most comfortable shoes, and as a result are without a doubt my Fall go-tos. Who doesn't love comfy, cute and cozy? I also just recently picked up a pair of these as well!

Things to do in Portland

I'm traveling to Portland next week for a wedding (and to squeeze in as much adventuring as possible!), so I've been pinning some must-go places on Pinterest. I love Portland a ton and hope to move there someday, so while this isn't anywhere near my first trip, I love to try new things everytime I visit! Recommendations are always welcome :).

Apple Hill

I'm also planning a trip to Apple Hill sometime after Portland and can't wait! It's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it to take in the picturesque Autumnal vibes complete with apple and pumpkin picking. I'm already looking forward to apple cider and spiced donuts -- yum!

This weekend I'll be heading to a pumpkin patch (I've got some projects up my sleeve!) and watching some new films (anybody else especially excited to see Girl on a Train??).
